The present invention relates to a local mentor providing system based on the reproduction of a textbook-sound source for English listening education and to a computer-readable recording medium having a local mentor providing program recorded thereon. The local mentor providing system based on the reproduction of a textbook-sound source for English listening education according to the present invention comprises: a smart terminal (10); a communication network (20); a textbook-sound source reproducing server (30); an education providing server (40); and a mentor terminal (50). The textbook-sound source reproducing server (30) reproduces sound source files and text files of a textbook corresponding to each of the sound source files in a compressed file during the reproduction of a textbook-sound source to provide a textbook-sound source, which is provided for free, a video lecture based on the textbook-sound source, and listening questions to the education providing server (40) via the communication network (20). In addition, the textbook-sound source reproducing server (30) generates meta-data for synchronization while simultaneously generating the sound source files and the text files in a single compressed file, decodes the single compressed file and the meta-data together, and provides the same to the education providing server (40). The smart terminal (10) registers inquiries about the textbook-sound source in the education providing server (40) through a menu for selecting a specific category of knowledge, which is realized by an input and output part (12), and receives a reply from a mentor terminal (50) set as the local mentor of a region which the smart terminal (10) belongs to.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
